We had our open mic night/talent show tonight. We call it BUCC Cafe, or Boston University Catholic Center Cafe. It’s a great night every semester, and it’s worth it every time!
I had a hand in organizing it, picking the hosts, setting the event up, performing in it, being a tech hand and stage manager on it, and breaking down the set afterwards. I loved all of it! I did tech for shows at camp and in school. I love helping performances run smoothly, and entertaining the audience. I got to do both of those tonight!
The picture for this post is the white board which has the order of acts on it. All of the acts were entertaining in their own right. There was improv comedy, funny stories, a girl walking on her hands, improv blues music, trumpet and piano playing, dancing, and more. It is a fun time every time and a great joy to put on a night of good, quality entertainment.
