Much Holiness, Such great Community

Today marks the start of the Triduum, the holiest time of the year. And it was a wonderful start! We had the Holy Thursday Mass at Marsh today. It was a beautiful service. I got to sing the Gloria, and felt a great deal of Holiness in that space.

There are special things that happen at the services during the Triduum. After today’s Mass, there was a procession from Marsh to the BU Catholic Center, where the Eucharist was put in a tabernacle outside the Chapel. After a brief time of adoration, we went on a pilgrimage to a few different churches. A large group of us went from the CC to St. Clements, then to St. Cecilia’s, then to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. We had night prayer with Cardinal Sean at the Cathedral. It was beautiful.

I did this procession last year and loved it. I loved it so much, I decided to do it again this year. And loved it even more! As we walked there, we sang songs, prayed the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet, and enjoyed fellowship and companionship with all there. It’s a sign of how holy this community is, and how much of a family we all are. I could not be happier with the people I’m surrounded by than I am now. I love these people and the places we go together, like the Cathedral shown in the picture.
