Callback day. Legs were broken! (In the theatre sense)

I had my callbacks for the Summer Arts Festival performance today. It was a great time. I saw several friends from last year’s show, and got to sing, act, dance, and perform along side some good friends of mine. It was a beautiful time. I managed to get a good part in the show!

I love theatre. The timing, the energy, the beautiful stories that can be shared, and the friendships formed are impressive, inspiring, and one of the best parts of my time doing a show. I have a great feeling about this one. On the Town is a beautiful story, and has tremendous music to boot. I got the part of the Announcer. Anyone who knows me will think something along the following lines, “What a big surprise that you got THAT role!” I love the chance, and I’m looking forward to the summer! Everyone should come and see the show! It will be at the Mandell JCC from July 31- August 3. More details to follow!
